Christabel Onome Otobo, Popularly known as Cryxtal, (born May 11, 1990), hails from, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. Cryxtal grew up in Effurun, Delta State, where she was born and breed up, until she moved to Benin City. In the year 2007, she gained admission into the University Of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria.

 


Early Life: Christabel Onome Otobo, grew up with her parents in Effurun, Delta State. She attended Auntie Rose Secondary School, a private school in Warri, Delta State, before she gained admission into the University Of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria in the year 2007, to study Plant Biology and Biotechnology, and Graduated in 2011 with honours.

Career: While in school (University Of Benin), Cryxtal, was into media (V.j and red carpet). In her 300 level, started with anchoring Uniben Carol, 2010 and then Nuga Games 2011. In the year 2013, she latter came across a staff of AIT, Aghatise Ryan a.k.a A-teez, they had a conversation and A-teez knew she's got what it takes to be an OAP. He gave her a recommendation to come over to Raypower Station in Benin City.

She went to the studio, t introduced herself and they where impressed with the way she handled the the programme. That was how she got herself hired. Cryxtal is is not just an On Air Personality (OAP), she is also very good in writing books. Cryxtal is currently working on a novel Titled "La Greffe", Coming out March next year, to be followed up with a movie. According to her, the Movie will be out just after the Novel is been published and lunched. Cryxtal is also into business consultant for companies, individuals and organizations. She works with 9jamx.com to help promote upcoming artistes in Nigeria.

She has so far interviewed some of Nigerian's  finest celebrities both Benin based artiste and outside among whom are; Jude sax, Lyna, C.E.O 9jamx.com, Fame, Aity sax, Kcee the comedian, Stringz, Zina, Jroyalty- 17 voices, the list is endless.

In an interview with Beausteven's Blog, she stated some of her mentors, which are: Kelly Osbourne, Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, Khloé Kardashian, Melissa Rivers, Uche Nogo, Hollywood J and Kenny Ogungbe.
