Sir Peter Jackson and Lorde are among a host of high profile New Zealanders supporting an auction organised by TV ONE's Seven Sharp to provide relief to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the
Philippines.

The Trade Me auction has been set up to help get essential supplies to those devastated by last week's typhoon, which has left an estimated 4 million people displaced.

Donated items up for auction include a signed deluxe edition of The  Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey from Sir Peter, a signed Team NZ Olympic rowing uniform, a golf putter from Lydia Ko and a pair of boxing gloves signed by David Tua and Joseph Parker.

Also up for grabs are tickets to the
Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards to see Lorde perform, a $500 Trelise Cooper voucher and signed salt and pepper shakers from iconic girl group Salt N Pepa. An auction for a signed Xbox One from Kim Dotcom currently sits at over $800.

Seven Sharp executive producer Raewyn Rasch said the program was proud to help the relief fund.

"Kiwi celebrities have leapt at the chance to help those in need, and given New Zealand a great chance to get behind emergency efforts," she said. The auctions can be accessed here.
