11 people dead in car crash

Polokwane - A bus has collided with another vehicle on the N1 highway in Limpopo, killing at least 11 people, eNCA reported on Friday.

The accident took place near Makhado. The N1 near the Capricorn toll plaza has been closed as rescue officials attend to the scene.

According to eNCA, the bus apparently overtook a car and then crashed head-first into the vehicle. The drivers of both vehicles are among the dead
