Madonna, Lady Gaga Top Forbes’ List of 2013′s Highest Paid Musicians in the world

After exchanging barbs through the media last year, the "Material Girl" and provocative performer of Poker Face find themselves sharingthe headlines again — this time on Forbes' annual list of the highest paid musicians for 2013. According to the Forbes report, Madonna earned an estimated 125 million dollars — the bulk of which came from her MDNA Tour which grossed about 305 million dollars. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga placed a distant second earning 80 million with an estimated gross of 168 million, although those numbers would have been higher if not for Gaga's hip injury earlier in the year.

The pride of New Jersey Bon Jovi came in third with 79 million dollars, while Toby Keith and Coldplay round out the top five with 65 and 64 million dollars respectively.

9. Beyoncé: 53 million

16. Rihanna: 43 million

18. One Direction: 42 million

22. Katy Perry: 39 million
