David Adeleke aka Davido has proven on different occasions that he was not just a flash in the pan. The singer who broke even in 2011 has continued to churn out hit after hit. Davido was one of Nigeria’s top flight artistes with the highest nominations in different award shows winning many.
In a recently released nigerian most watched Youtube videos, the singers monster hit single Aye was number one leading other very popular videos. Davido’s energetic and youthful performing style has seen him draw more attention than most of his contemporaries.
At first fans thought it was his fathers wealth that kept his music going but the singer kept releasing songs that became like street anthems.
Davido’s success could be termed rapid but steady having won various awards both in Nigeria and outside Africa. At the rate the 21 year old singer is going, he may just become Nigeria’s biggest star soon.
