Female Police Officers Sipped & Beaten In Broad Daylight In Edo

I didnt want to post this news cause its kinda embarrassing to me cause Edo state is where i come from but i have to here is what happened... Three female police officers were attacked and stripped while they were on active duty by residents of Ikpoba-Okha local government area of Edo State on Wednesday, 19 Nov.

The Nation reported that, the incident occurred when a landlady, identified as Mrs. Okebuse, called the police to arrest one of her tenants who was served a quit notice. When the police officers arrived the unnamed tenant demanded to take her bath before going to the police station.

The police officers did not allow the woman to do this and she immediately offered resistance. Angry locals joined the tenant who attacked the officers who were on duty; the whole incident ended with all three female police officers stripped naked and beaten black and blue.

They are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital. The suspects were arrested; now they are waiting for trial. Speaking about the attack, the state’s Police Commissioner, Foluso Adebanjo, said the accused perpetrators  would face the full wrath of the law.
